Komboloi, 2023 · Porcelain, glaze, pigments.
Komboloi is the Greek word for “worry beads”, the Turks call them Akik Tesbih. They are prayer beads, found in all religions around the world. Blue and white, they evoke water. I think of them as prayer beads for the planet, our earth and water.
